I feel you happen to be referring to American Football. The money line is the straight betting on who will win (some bookmakers contain overtime). Hypothetically the the Funds Line for the Patriots to beat the Buccaneers would be close to one/12 due to the fact the Pats would be clear favourites in that matchup, although the Spread would be around -14.5.
